Not sure where to go? Too many islands to choose from?
We appreciate our guests from overseas will inevitably come across the odd problem or two when in Scotland. Thankfully, such problems are nearly always very minor and easily resolved.
However, to give some peace of mind when here, all guests have access to the Scottish Highland Trails 24-hour help line from which everything from directions to medical advice can be obtained.
It matters not how small the enquiry, we’re happy to help, ensuring a smooth vacation for all.
We also provide our guests with the 24 hour number prior to departure in order that friends and family can contact us in case emergency contact is required whist you are in Scotland.
This number is always covered by one of the Scottish Highland Trails Management Team empowered to make any decision required on the spot to assist you.
For guests on a self-drive package, we provide a full and comprehensive folder of maps, directions and instructions, which will hopefully keep you on the right route throughout your tour.
And it goes without saying that the same level of service including 24 hour assistance is provided in Ireland as well, should you be spending time in Ireland during your tour.
Tourist Information Centres are to be found throughout Scotland where a vast amount of literature relating to their respective areas can be found. The Tourist Information personnel are always happy to give advice and, if they don’t know the answer to your question, they always know who else might and will make contact for you.
As part of your tailor made tour, Scottish Highland Trails can arrange:
Scottish Highland Trails welcomes all group travel enquiries and can provide a range of services for your group, including itinerary planning, transport, accommodation and the services of a tour manager and/or guide to ensure the trip runs smoothly (foreign language guides available on request). You will have a single point of contact throughout the planning process.
Group travel will be tailor made to your group’s requirements and interests. We can arrange a wide range of options from, for example, outdoor activities to whisky tastings to ceilidhs or Burns suppers…anything can be included. As group travel specialists we pride ourselves on our professional approach, giving you flexibility and peace of mind. In the past we have arranged group tours in Scotland and Ireland for clan societies and special interest groups, smaller groups of family and friends, youth groups and weddings.
Popular options for day tours include: Loch Lomond & the Trossachs, the Scottish Borders, Ayrshire & Burns Country or St Andrews & Fife. Or if you have somewhere specific in mind, just ask!
If you prefer the flexibility of a self-drive tour with a rental car, Scottish Highland Trails will make all the arrangements for your tailor made tour of Scotland or Ireland (including route planning, accommodation and so on) and also provide you with a route map and comprehensive directions to make things as easy as possible for you once you are on the road. We’ve never lost anyone yet! And before you set off, one of our representatives will spend some time with you to give you some practice driving on the left (if required) and will escort you onto the correct route. Driving on the left can be daunting if you are not used to it and many of our past guests have remarked that this service is invaluable!
Scottish Highland Trails offer a fully comprehensive vacation planning service for tailor made tours to Scotland and/or Ireland. Whatever your interests or special requirements, we can tailor make a tour just for you! Our planning service is free of charge. Once we have agreed a package of arrangements, we will give you a single package price. At the end of the day if we can’t create your perfect package at a price you are willing to pay, we will have failed, not you, and you can walk away with our best wishes.
